Experience the best of island life with Guernsey Running Retreats where we merge running, travel, food, history and culture, all while making memories for life.

We are as passionate about our island as we are about running and have picked some beautiful routes that offer breathtaking views and a taste of our history.

On our retreats, not only will you enjoy runs and classes aimed at all abilities, but you will have a chance to explore at your own pace.

Evenings will include high quality meals cooked with local produce and seafood caught in sight of where we run.

We will cross to the paradise island of Herm for a run, food and a talk from an Olympic runner.

Each night we will return to our base in at Le Chêne B&B, based around a mid-19th century manor house that is full of character and within touching distance of the spectacular cliffs.

Escape the stresses of the week with like-minded people and leave refreshed and inspired.

Will there be free time?

Yes. We want you to make the most of what Guernsey has to offer so have built in time on Sunday afternoon to allow you to explore.

We can’t guarantee sunshine, but we’re runners, so we’re used to that! Autumn in Guernsey is generally mild, some would say perfect for what we do.

They are more than welcome and we can accommodate them on the non-running activities and suggest others. Please contact us to discuss your requirements before booking.

How do I get around?

From arriving on island we will look after all your needs and will transport everyone to each activity we are hosting. The islands of Guernsey

Guernsey is nestled in the English Channel near the French coast.

From sandy beaches to rugged cliffs, cobbled streets to picturesque marinas, a lot is packed into its 26 square miles.

The island has a rich history, with evidence of human activity dating back to the Neolithic era. It was a part of the Duchy of Normandy and has been influenced by both British and French cultures throughout, something that is evident in the architecture, cuisine, and place names. During World War II, it was occupied by German forces, leaving a significant mark on the landscape.

Guernsey, which has its own government, is now renowned for its financial services industry, but tourism still plays a big part in its economy and visitors can find stunning scenery, boutique shops and restaurants to enjoy.

We will take you around Guernsey and Herm, but why not add on some extra days and find out what the nearby islands of Sark and Alderney have to offer to?
